Cold and flu prevention and treatment!
Vitamin A is a potent anti-viral and the vitamin I prescribe most often during cold and flu season. People can’t get over how quickly they heal when they take ample Vitamin A!
I recommend a daily dose (1-2 drops) during the cold and flu season with a significant increase (up to 10x! ) for a maximum of 2 weeks if you get sick. Take large doses at the very first sign of an infection and you may chase it away before it settles in. Lower doses for kids and pregnant women (although kids can handle 5-10 drops for a few days, weight dependent, and pregnant women should not exceed 10,000 iu daily).
Vitamin A is also supportive for healing the skin, improving night vision and building strong bones and teeth.
